Thank you to everyone who helped make the 5th Annual Strikes for Hope Charity Bowling Tournament a huge success! The event raised $15,805. That amount was donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center, where they will use 100% of the funds they received on cancer research. We raised 50% more at this event than our previous best in 2010, which is an incredible improvement! Your efforts in supporting this cause are immensely appreciated.

The date for the 6th Annual Strikes for Hope Charity Bowling Tournament will likely be announced in early spring. We hope to build on the success of this event and continue to meaningfully increase the amount that is able to be donated to cancer research each and every year.

Help Support Our Cause
Our group’s fundraising efforts began in 2006 with the creation of The Fore Life, Fore Hope Charity Golf Tournament. Dave and Brian Ellenbecker's mother was diagnosed with uterine cancer that summer. They were eager to find a way to help raise funds to donate to cancer research causes in the hopes of advancing treatment options, and ultimately finding a cure for this terrible disease. In 2008, the Strikes For Hope Charity Bowling Tournament was added, and in 2011, the Spikes For Hope Volleyball tournament debuted.
Since 2006, Dave and Brian were joined in organizing the tournaments by several friends, including Danielle Shepstone, John Germano, Lisa Ellenbecker, Laura Monfre, Steve Backus, and many others. Hundreds of supporters have contributed through participation, donations, sponsorships, and fundraising. 100% of all proceeds are donated to The Medical College of Wisconsin - Cancer Center. We cannot thank everyone enough for their continued support, and we look forward to putting on many more amazing events in the future!
